Aron and Jared aren't the only victims of homophobia in my mind, dears. Granted, these two men have no names so far, and they're far from the average good-guys, and they'd take too much work to be put in a graphic novel, but some ideas are fine just the way they are; locked up in my head.
...Lance? And Jonathan? Or cakelordnumbahseven. Anywho;
Tools: watercolours, 3B pencil, pastels, pen, water, on an A3 sized piece of sketching paper. Time taken: I don't know. Four hours, perhaps. Some done today, and some done yesterday - while watching Emperor freaking Kuzco.

If your reaction is something like; "They don't LOOK very gay to me.", I'd like to remind you of the fact that men are men, and not all homosexual men have the 100% girly touch. Weird fangirls or anime artists tend to make you forget about that. DAMN YOU.
This is a no-go zone for republican-voting morons, homophobes and haters. Keep all anti-gay comments to yourselves. For, by God, you won't survive. ;D Comments are extremely appreciated, fav and runs are... a bit less appreciated. But still appreciated. Though sometimes I forget to thank people for them... D8
I haven't commented on any of your works for too long.. It's like.. You've managed to create "guilt" in the eyes of the left guy.. Just, the look in his eyes is so sad! And of course, that fits in the artwork perfectly, but it's also a reflection of how real homosexual men like him must feel.. Sad I love his face too, btw; great job on that! And of course, the colorful background! It sort of makes the front characters stand out better..

Oooh, new characters? The one on the left is quite striking and handsome with his stubble going on there. I can't understand why, but he reminds me of Sherlock Holmes..like in the movie that just came out. He doesn't look much like him though, so I don't know why! XD As always, I adore the way you shade skin. It's fantastic. And the colors harmonize well together. ..although the black and white portraits are a little harsh against the colors. Perhaps a sepia or cream wash would soften that? Beautiful work m'dear!

Kiiiinda, though characters are probably no characters when they appear in one work only. Sherlock Holmes, you say? Hmm... I kind of had a different vibe from him afterwards, a bit like a oombination of my dad and some actor I don't remember the name of. Or so. And thank you, dear! But, I just wonder; what materials would you use for that cream wash, and how does it work? In school, we've only learned how to do a similar thing with thin watercolours or such, and with thinned acrylics.

Ahaha, your dad must be pretty darn cool! My dad only looks like middle aged Chevy Chase. As far as washes go, I usually either make one up of diluted watercolors or oil paints. I like oil paints a lot because you can add varnish to it to keep from fading a lot (watercolor wash fades ink so much and sometimes it's a bummer)..I use Gamsol for an oil thinner. It works pretty nicely.

The prejudices are rather irritating, yesss. D8 Gay men can be MEN, hairy and football-worshipping as they can get, and gay women can be WOMEN, as tender and gentle like any other. ;D
